Excerpt:

Rehabilitation therapy is a method that uses the movement of the human body's muscles and joints to prevent and treat diseases, as well as promote the recovery and development of physical and mental functions. Our department primarily incorporates a variety of rehabilitation techniques, such as Bobath, Vojta, Rood, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), and Ueda Method, to treat movement disorders caused by neurological diseases in children.

Language-Speech Therapy Room:

Department of Maternal and Child Health Rehabilitation

The goal of language therapy is to improve a patient's language comprehension and expression abilities (including improving auditory discrimination, reading comprehension, promoting language expression and fluency, and improving language use), with the ultimate aim of restoring the patient's language communication and social interaction skills.

Occupational Therapy Room:

Occupational therapy involves using various therapeutic activities to improve hand function, daily living skills, and occupational abilities. It purposefully selects and designs activities from daily life, work, and cognitive activities to train patients, in order to alleviate symptoms, improve functionality, and enable patients to achieve better self-care abilities and higher quality of life when reintegrating into society.

Hydrotherapy Room:

Hydrotherapy utilizes the temperature, hydrostatic pressure, buoyancy, and chemical composition of water to treat diseases. Hydrotherapy's main effects on the body include temperature stimulation, mechanical stimulation, and chemical stimulation.

Vibroacoustic Therapy Room:

Vibroacoustic therapy involves extracting low-frequency signals (16-150Hz) beneficial to the human body from music and amplifying them. These signals are then applied to the body through physical transduction, adjusting the function of the autonomic nervous system, promoting microcirculation, and bringing about systemic improvements, thereby significantly enhancing the biological intervention of music therapy.

Paraffin Therapy Room:

Paraffin therapy involves applying heated wax to the affected area, utilizing its heat and mechanical effects to promote blood circulation, reduce muscle tension, improve joint mobility, eliminate inflammation, provide pain relief, and soften scar tissue.

Rehabilitation Engineering:

Rehabilitation engineering utilizes engineering principles and methods to compensate or correct functional defects and deformities by assembling orthoses, wheelchairs, and walking aids. Its aim is to enable patients to achieve maximum self-care and reintegrate into society.

Acupuncture and Moxibustion Room:

Acupuncture and moxibustion involve using needle stimulation on the body's meridians and acupoints, along with specific tonifying or reducing techniques, to treat diseases. Their effects include clearing meridians, harmonizing yin and yang, and supporting the body’s righteous qi while expelling evil. Moxibustion involves burning moxa sticks or cones to provide localized heat to acupoints, with the goal of warming meridians and regulating qi and blood.

Massage Room:

Massage involves using techniques such as pushing, grasping, lifting, pinching, and kneading along meridians and acupoints to achieve the effects of unblocking meridians, promoting blood and qi circulation, relieving pain, expelling evil influences, and harmonizing yin and yang. Dragon Technique Orthopedics is used to treat conditions such as cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, and vertebro-subluxation-induced dizziness, tinnitus, dizziness, and chest tightness.

Physical Therapy Room:

Our department possesses advanced specialized rehabilitation treatment equipment, such as ultrasonic cerebral vascular treatment devices, cerebral circulation treatment devices, frequency-variable transcranial magnetic stimulation, vibroacoustic wave therapy systems, pediatric language training devices, computer intermediate-frequency treatment devices, thermoelectric low-frequency treatment devices, nerve injury treatment devices, spasm treatment devices, meridian therapy devices, magnetic resonance heat therapy devices, multifunctional microwave treatment devices, low-frequency magnetic therapy machines, otorhinolaryngology shortwave treatment devices, ultrasonic drug iontophoresis treatment devices, pediatric hydrotherapy devices, paraffin therapy devices, traditional Chinese medicine fumigation machines, multifunctional electric beds, cervical/lumbar traction beds, electric suction machines, and electrocardiogram monitors. These devices fully meet the clinical rehabilitation, teaching, and research needs of neurological diseases, as well as conditions such as neck, shoulder, waist, and leg pain.
